Strong and happy families are the result of effective parent leadership. The EDUCHILD programs are designed to enable parents to exercise this most important role. EDUCHILD's proven method helps bring about the desired transformation in parents and their families.
 
EDUCHILD now offers these programs:
  • FAMILY VISIONING [see Course Schedule below]
    Provides couples the opportunity to think about, talk about and articulate the desired state for their family. This highly-participative workshop guides the couple through a visioning process where they:
     
    • Explore the concept of visioning,
    • Proactively define and discuss their desired state as a couple, as parents, as family in relation to their children and as a family in relation to the other members of their extended family,
    • Asses where they are today in relation to where they want to be and develop creative ways to address the gaps between where they are and where they want to be, and
    • Learn the “do’s and don’ts” of how to put their family vision to life

       
  • FIRST STEPS COURSE [see Course Schedule below]
    (Young couple with children below age 7)
     
    • Discover and harness the huge potential of their children in the key developmental aspects: psycho-social, physiological, cognitive and moral
    • Instill good age-appropriate habits in their children,
    • Foster a joyful and enriching family life with their young children
    • Topics Include:
      • Importance of play
      • Preparing fro school
      • Sibling relationships
      • Concept of discipline
      • Communication within the family
         
  • BASIC PARENTING COURSE [see Course Schedule below]
    (Parents with children age 7 and above)
     
    • Have regular family get-together and bonding activities that are both fun and meaningful for all members of the family
    • Nurture the Husband and Wife relationship through regular and exclusive time shared by the husband and wife
    • Build one-on-one bond with each child
    • Live and understand one’s faith through PRAYER FOR and PRAYER WITH the family
    • Topics Include:
      • Good study and work habits
      • Using chores creativity for child rearing and family bonding
      • Anticipating and coping with peer pressure
      • The right and wrong approach to sex education
  • BEYOND “ I DO” [see Course Schedule below]
    A venue for husband and wife to take a closer look at their marriage – their conjugal life…! How it has been, how it can be better. Through short talks and workshop activities, participants can expect to gain deeper understanding of their spouse's needs and learn practical and effective communication skills. The program will surely enhance the marital bond and help keep married love alive.

    Program hopes to:
    • discover the best way your spouse would like to be loved; and nurture day to day conjugal living
    • gain practical skills that will help you communicate your love to your spouse;
    • experience activities that help bond and strengthen your marital relationship;
    • To have another opportunity to please, affirm and show affection to your spouse.
